Per pack: 5Wehrmacht '47® recon armoured personnel carrier. (Decal not included)
This was to be the primary reconnaissance infantry carrier in the post-halftrack era for the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS. It was to replace the SdKfz 250/1 vehicles. The halftracks were found to be quite finicky mechanically. Though the halftracks were more mobile in difficult terrain than armoured cars, by 1944 it was quite clear to army planners that a fully tracked vehicle would be much more efficient in the field. The standard weaponry would have been the MG42 light machine gun.
