Type 87 Reconnaissance Combat Vehicle; a six-wheel armored car armed with a 25mm Oerlikon cannon and manned by a crew of 5. It entered production in 1987 with about 95 vehicles currently in service. Although highly maneuverable, it has a high silhouette and lacks amphibious capability. Also called "Black eye".
